A while back, I created a Facebook page for our family to keep in touch. It wasn’t long before many people related to the Hayes/Walker family began liking the page, commenting, and collaborating with us on our family trees. It was amazing.
A few weeks back, I created a Hayes/Walker facebook private group for just people who are kin to the Hayes or Walker family. This is so we can send invites to reunions and other events. I ask that anyone who joins the group answer two questions; #1 Are you related to the family and if so which one (Hayes or Walker), and #2 Who are your parents?. I ask these questions to keep out anyone who is not related, so I know which invites to send to who, and to verify your kinship with our family.
